Netherlands-based inspection and industrial services provider Intero Integrity Services announced it has acquired The Sniffers. Founded in 1991, The Sniffers is an emission monitoring and pipeline integrity services firm with headquarters in Belgium.  

GreenGasUSA and Dominion Energy Carolina Gas (DECG) announced an agreement to construct the first renewable natural gas injection point on DECG’s interstate pipeline system. The injection point will be located in Georgetown, SC, and will allow producers of methane gas from landfill, farm waste and other sources to inject renewable natural gas into DECG’s interstate pipeline system.

Newly established Tumbleweed Midstream announced it has acquired the Ladder Creek Helium Plant and its associated 730-mile (1175-km) gathering and distribution systems from DCP Midstream. The plant, which separates helium from the natural gas stream and liquefies it for transport, serves producers operating in the Morrow, Mississippian, Spergen, Chester and Marmaton formations of eastern Colorado and western Kansas, where natural gas has average helium concentrations as high as 3%.   

Tulsa-based Mattsco Supply Company, founded in 1975 by the Mattox family, has been acquired by a group of private investors led by Eric Clower and Randy Benson. The Mattox family will still maintain a minority ownership, while daily operations will be managed by Clower and Benson, who bring more than 20 years of combined experience in the oil and gas industry and have worked together in manufacturing for 14 years. Most recently, Clower was vice president and general manager of Harsco Industrial Air-X-Changers while Benson served as the vice president of Sales and Marketing.
