Colonial Terminals Operating Company – a subsidiary of Colonial Enterprises, Inc. (Colonial) and an affiliate of Colonial Pipeline Company – has agreed to purchase three refined product terminals from Lincoln Terminal Company, a products and biofuels marketing and logistics company. Two of the terminals, located in Charlotte, N.C., and Chattanooga, Tenn., are connected to the Colonial Pipeline Company system, and the other is located in Fredericksburg, Va. The acquisition allows Colonial to move into the terminal business and lay the groundwork for further expansion. “Terminals are a natural extension of Colonial’s overall business, providing the opportunity to serve customers in new ways while building and strengthening relationships,” Colonial said.

An affiliate of Black Bear Transmission has agreed to acquire six intrastate natural gas transmission pipelines from a subsidiary of Third Coast Midstream. The acquisition provides an extension to the U.S. Southeast gas transmission business that Basalt acquired from Third Coast in 2019, resulting in the formation of Black Bear. The six pipelines span approximately 1,400 miles (2,300 km) in Alabama, Louisiana and Mississippi, with a total capacity of more than 800 MMcf/d (23 million m3/d).
