Pipeline to be Built off the Israeli Coast

Energean Oil & Gas’  Board of Directors voted to go forward with the $1.6 billion Karish & Tanin Development Project, located off the Israeli coast. It is expected to be placed in service in the first quarter of 2021. The Karish & Tanin Development Project will transport 2.15 Tcf of gas over a period of 16 years. The project will include construction of a floating production storage and offloading vessel (FPSO) containing 800 MMscf/d natural gas treatment capacity and liquids storage capacity of 800,000 barrels.   A 56-mile (90-km) gas pipeline will connect the FPSO to the Israel’s domestic sales gas grid operated by INGL, the country’s national gas transmission company.
