NACE Corrosion Attendance Tops 6,500

More than 1,500 people filed into the NACE Corrosion 2018 opening ceremonies in Phoenix

About 6,500 attendees, whose interests ranged from applications for pipelines to highway and bridge construction, turned out for NACE Corrosion 2018, held April 16-19 at the Phoenix Convention Center.

The group, representing a diverse range of those involved in the coating and anti-corrosion materials fields, visited about 300 exhibits, attended technical and research symposia – and, of course, networked.

For participants interested in fighting corrosion as it specifically affects the oil and gas industry there was plenty to be seen, too, with at least 260 exhibitors listing among their specializations: pipelines, tanks and underground systems, oil and gas exploration, and refining.
