Hiland Crude Holds Open Season To Expand Transport Capacity

Hiland Crude, LLC recently held an open season to solicit shipper interest for crude oil transportation service involving an expansion of its 488-mile Double H Pipeline that is under construction. An initial open season was held in 2012 for the base capacity.

The facilities will include the Hiland pipeline that originates in the Bakken oil production areas near Dore, ND and Sydney, MT and terminates at Hiland’s tankage at Guernsey, WY together with new and increased capacity pump stations. Hiland will deliver oil into connecting pipelines in Guernsey. Hiland expects to transport up to 100,000 bopd beginning in the fourth quarter.
