Technip/WIKA Win Indonesian Gas Development Contract

Technip, in a consortium with PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk (WIKA), was awarded an onshore lump sum contract by PT Pertamina EP for the Matindok Gas Development project in Central Sulawesi, Indonesia.

The contract covers the engineering, procurement, construction and installation of gas well pads, flowlines, pipelines; a central processing plant 672 million cubic meters per year of gas with gas treatment facilities. Sweet gas from the Matindok central processing plant will be sent to the Donggi Senoro LNG plant.

Technip’s operating center in Jakarta will handle the detailed engineering, procurement of critical process equipment while WIKA will manage construction activities along with the procurement of major items. The project is scheduled for completion in 2016.
