Coastal GasLink Files Pipeline Application

Coastal GasLink Pipeline Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of TransCanada PipeLines Limited, proposes to develop a natural gas pipeline from northeast British Columbia to the west coast of British Columbia to serve export markets.

An application for an Environmental Assessment Certificate was submitted by Coastal GasLink Pipeline Ltd. to the BC Environmental Assessment Office. The project involves construction and operation of a 650-km pipeline from the Groundbirch area near Dawson Creek, B.C. to the proposed LNG Canada LNG facility near Kitimat, B.C.
