East Texas Gathering To Build Fairway Gas Plant

TPF II East Texas Gathering LLC (ETG) has secured commitments to build a gas processing plant (Fairway Gas Plant) in San Augustine County, which will process gas produced from the rich James Lime formation in East Texas.

The Fairway Gas Plant, with a targeted in-service date of Dec. 15, will recover NGLs from gas produced from the James Lime formation and return the resulting residue gas into ETG’s East Texas Gathering System. From there it will be delivered into ETG interconnections with Gulf South’s 42-inch pipeline and CenterPoint Energy Gas Transmission’s 42-inch line near Carthage, Gulf South’s 30-inch pipeline at Milam and ETG’s interconnection with the facilities of Natural Gas Pipeline Co. of America in Nacogdoches County. NGLs recovered by the plant will be sent to fractionation sites in East Texas, south Louisiana or Mont Belvieu for separation.

The 250-mile East Texas Gathering System has a design capacity of 1.2 Bcf/d and gathers natural gas produced from the Haynesville, Cotton Valley and James Lime formations in East Texas and north Louisiana. The system transports gas to five interconnections with downstream pipelines on behalf of multiple producers under long-term contracts.
