Foster Wheeler Wins Deepwater Gulf Pipeline Projects

Foster Wheeler AG’s Global Engineering and Construction Group has been awarded a detail design contract by Enbridge Offshore Facilities, LLC for the deepwater Walker Ridge Gathering System export gas pipelines and the deepwater Big Foot (BGF) export oil pipeline located in the Walker Ridge area of the Gulf of Mexico. The $500 million Walker Ridge Gathering System is expected to include approximately 190 miles of 8-inch, 10-inch and/or 12-inch diameter pipeline at depths of up to 7,000 feet and will have a capacity of 100 MMcf/d.
