Pipeline Suspension Bridges Topic At Pipeliners Meeting

Parsons project manager Seth Condell, P.E. discussed the intricacies involved in pipeline suspension bridges at a recent meeting of The Pipeliners Association of Houston. After detailing the engineering and construction firm’s history – dating back to David Steinman and John Roebling – and about noteworthy Parsons projects in the transportation and pipeline industries, the engineer explained the elements of suspension bridges, specifically pipeline suspension bridges. Condell recalled a project Parsons handled for Williams involving replacement of the main cables of two suspended aerial crossings carrying a natural gas pipeline across the Colorado and Brazos
