Innovation® announced the names of three Connect and Collect Promotion winners.

Innovation® announced the names of three Connect and Collect Promotion winners: Joe DiBlasi of Centennial, CO, Steve Terviel of Osage Beach, MO and John Goiangios of Hartford, CT. Each will receive a year’s worth of free DryConn® Wire Connectors. The online promotion was held in conjunction with the kickoff of King’s new Web 2.0 enabled site.

ArcLight Capital Partners’ wholly owned affiliate, Offshore Infrastructure Partners LLC, closed on its purchase from ATP Oil & Gas Corp. of the oil and natural gas pipelines that service ATP’s Gomez Hub in the Gulf of Mexico for $78 million. The oil pipeline is 28 miles long and has the capacity to transport up to 25,000 bpd to the Amberjack pipeline system. The gas pipeline, also 28 miles long, can transport 100 MMcf/d to Discovery Gas Pipeline. ATP will still operate both pipelines.

Geospatial Holdings, Inc., and Infrastructure Technologies entered into a strategic alliance to jointly market Geospatial Corporation’s 3-D digital pipeline mapping technologies and I.T.’s infrastructure inspection software and services.

Doosan Infracore America has added Stone Valley Equipment to its dealer network. With locations in Corner Brook, Grand Falls and Mount Pearl, Newfoundland, Stone Valley Equipment will offer the full-line of Doosan excavators and wheel loaders to Canadian customers.

EDF Trading, a wholly owned subsidiary of EDF S.A., announced that Eagle Energy Partners has changed its name to EDF Trading North America LLC. The change in corporate name is accompanied by conversion from a partnership into a limited liability company.

Flowserve Corporation has been honored by Frost & Sullivan with its 2009 European Pump Services Customer Service Leadership of the Year Award. In other news, Flowserve named Mark Blinn president/CEO.

Hilti is expanding its production network with a facility in Matamoros, Mexico that manufacturers fastening products for the North and Latin American markets. Scott Tindle is plant manager.

GE Oil & Gas expanded its subsea portfolio capabilities, opening a Subsea Monitoring and Remote Technology Center (or SmartCenter) in Nailsea, near Bristol in the United Kingdom. The site offers assistance and services to the field at every stage of development – from installation and commissioning, through field start-up and onwards into routine operation for operational support, condition monitoring, diagnostics, and production optimization.

Pipeline Engineering has become a member of Circor International. Working with Circor’s subsidiary, Sagebrush Pipeline Equipment Company in Tulsa, OK, the companies will provide global complementary product offerings and related services.

Emerson Process Management acquired Missouri City, TX based EIM Controls Inc., a manufacturer of valve actuators. EIM Controls will join the company’s Valve Automation division, expanding Emerson’s electric actuator portfolio.

Certification
Serimax North America, LLC was awarded the ISO-9001:2008 certification by Det Norske Veritas (DNV) Certification Inc. The certification includes the Houston regional headquarters, Port Fourchon, LA fabrication site and the Theodore, AL spool base site. Serimax is an international full service welding company that plans, designs, manages and provides fully integrated welding solutions on land and at sea, in extreme conditions and challenging environments.

Weatherford International Ltd.’s Pipeline & Specialty Services (P&SS) group has taken its Integrated Management System Certification from a global to a hemispheric matrix. Western Hemisphere facilities in Lafayette, LA and Macaé, Brazil completed recertification audits in June. Results were accepted by DNV which issued certification to both facilities. The certificate will expand to include all other locations within the Western Hemisphere as these locations complete certification audits.

The AMETEK Petrolab Company opened a calibration and service center at the 40,000-square-foot AMETEK Oil and Gas facility near Tulsa, OK. The center has been ISO-certified since 1993.

The Kiely Equipment Co. underground division rents, sells, and services the complete line of Astec Underground construction equipment as well as TT Technologies, Baroid Industrial Drilling Products, and Digital Control Incorporated. The company is now an Underground Tools Inc. (UTI) dealership for New Jersey, New York, Eastern Pennsylvania, Maryland and Delaware.
