Ameren Illinois unveiled its new CNG refueling station, along with seven new trucks that run on the alternative fuel. The facility also provides fuel to CNG trailers used by Ameren Illinois for emergency response operations and system maintenance. The deployment of CNG vehicles is expected to save $1,000-2,000 per vehicle in annual fuel costs. American Midstream Partners closed on an additional 17% equity interest in the Destin Pipeline from affiliates of ArcLight Capital Partners, which controls the general partner of the partnership, for a total consideration of $30 million. Natural Gas Rodeo Winners The 2017 National Gas Rodeo, held recently at the Jefferson County Fair-grounds in Denver, CO announced the winners for the two- and four-person team events. PHMSA Drue Pearce was named deputy administrator for the federal Department of Transportation’s Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA). Pearce was a state senator for Alaska and federal coordinator for the Alaskan Natural Gas Transportation Projects.
