Clamp-on Ultrasonic Measurement in Gas Applications

Clamp-on meters have been around for over 40 years. As a result of improvements in the technology, the last 10 years have seen clamp-on meters working on a full range of gas applications. Many non-fiscal applications that were done by orifice, turbine, and spool ultrasonic meters are now shifting to clamp-on meters. These meters are cost effective, easy to install, and are proving to be very reliable and accurate. Flexim will give an overview of the technology, show laboratory & field results, and a range of applications where clamp-on meters are being applied.
