4/12/2017
Allseas Group S.A. has received a contract for offshore pipe laying of the Nord Stream 2 natural gas pipeline through the Baltic Sea. Allseas will conduct offshore pipe laying for both lines in 2018 and 2019, utilizing three vessels, the Pioneering Spirit, Solitaire and Audacia, to complete the project.
The contract follows the letter of intent agreed between both parties last December. Other tenders, including near-shore pipe laying in Russia and Germany, are still ongoing.
