Australian Pipeline Maintenance Contract Extension Awarded

Comdain Infrastructure has received a contract extension with Australian gas distributor, Multinet Gas. The contract extension, which has an estimated value of more than $300 million and begins July 1, 2017, continues Comdain’s existing position as the preferred service provider in Victoria’s Southern region and includes overseeing all operation and maintenance services for the entire Multinet Gas network.
“Comdain is committed to partnering with Multinet Gas,” Comdain CEO Peter Coen, said. “We will continue to nurture a collaborative approach by providing cost transparency and optimal engineering and asset management services.”
Under the terms of the agreement, Comdain will provide the following services:
- construction design
- connecting new customers and upgrading the network as necessary
- metering replacement programs
- pipeline patrol
- planned and unplanned maintenance for over 99 miles of transmission pressure pipelines and 6,089 miles of distribution mains to residential, commercial and industrial customers
