FERC Approves Constitution Pipeline Request to Expand Access Road

FERC has approved Constitution Pipeline Company, LLC’s request to use an existing DTE Energy access road and to install a temporary 50 ft x 25 ft extension designed to provide ingress/egress between Hall Road and Felled Tree Removal Segment #15 at MP 11.26.

“We have determined that there would be no effect on threatened and endangered species, waterbodies and wetlands, and cultural resources for the like-use of the existing road outside the previously surveyed corridor,” Kevin Bowman, Environmental Project Manager for FERC, said.  “In addition, we note that Constitution has obtained landowner approval.”

The approximately 125-mile Constitution Pipeline will extend from Susquehanna County, Pa., to the Iroquois Gas Transmission and Tennessee Gas Pipeline systems in Schoharie County, New York, and will transport 650,000 dekatherms of natural gas per day.
