EMAS Offshore Awarded Contracts Worth $33 Million

EMAS Offshore Limited has secured additional options for extension on an existing contract, as well as new awards for charters with an oil major and independent oil company in West Africa and Asia valued at more than $33 million.

In West Africa, EMAS Offshore’s PSV will be providing sea transportation services for an oil major. In Asia, EMAS Offshore’s contract is with an independent oil company. EMAS will provide one AHTS and the scope of work includes transportation of personnel, materials and supplies and to provide storage for materials and supplies.

“We continue to focus our efforts in West Africa, where we have sustained our win momentum whilst building our track record and growth across Asia,” said Capt. Adarash Kumar, EMAS Offshore’s chief executive officer. “Our strategy to focus our bidding activities in West Africa will allow us to increase penetration in this market whilst maintaining dominance in Asia amidst this muted oil and gas environment.”

The average duration for the contracts is 2.4 years, including the extension on an existing contract) and work is expected to commence in the first quarter of fiscal year 2016.
