Bond Construction Wins East Coast Projects

Bond Construction’s Civil & Utility was awarded two projects on the East Coast. The company’s Newark, NJ office will build a meter and regulation station for Columbia Gas at a major gas transmission interconnect facility in Ramapo, NY.

This project, which integrates the transmission facilities of NiSource/Millennium and Spectra/AGT, marks Bond’s second major project for Columbia and will last until November. The facility will regulate up to 350,000 MMcf/d. It includes three 12-inch gas turbine meters as well as a compression system that controls gas flow and provides overpressure protection.

Bond’s Newark office was also awarded a fast-track project from Kinder Morgan/Tennessee Gas to develop Bi-Directional Traps in Troy, PA. This is scheduled around a crucial shutdown in a compressor station that will be managed to minimize disruption to gas services.
