Enterprise TE To Build Illinois Lateral

Enterprise TE plans to construct a 16-inch lateral pipeline from a point in Illinois on its existing Seymour Lateral to a location in Manhattan, IL that is adjacent to tankage of the Enbridge Pipelines’ Southern Lights Pipeline.

It will also construct an interconnection with the Southern Lights Pipeline and an interconnection with Kinder Morgan Cochin Pipeline at a point to be determined.

All of the foregoing project facilities, consisting of up to 44 miles of 16-inch pipeline and related facilities costing more than $115 million, comprise the Seymour Lateral Extension which is designed to provide an alternative to shippers for the transportation of petroleum diluent from the Gulf Coast.

The Seymour Lateral Extension project could begin partial service by the fourth quarter. When complete, the project should create up to 90,000 bpd of diluent.
