Plains Pipeline, L.P. Holds Open Season For Montana Crude Line

Plains Pipeline, L.P., a subsidiary of Plains All American Pipeline, L.P., is holding an open season ending May 15 for committed capacity on a proposed crude oil pipeline from Baker to to Billings, MT.

The system would originate at Plains’ Baker station and provide initial capacity of at least 50,000 bpd of light sweet crude to Billings. From there shippers will have the option to transport volumes on Plains’ jointly owned Beartooth/Bighorn system, which provides service to Casper and Guernsey/Ft. Laramie, WY. Shippers will have the option to transport volumes from Casper to the Salt Lake City market via Plains’ jointly owned Frontier and Wahsatch pipelines.
