NiSource Unit Accepting Bids For Capacity To FGT

To serve growing demand for natural gas from diverse supply areas to robust southeastern markets, NiSource Gas Transmission & Storage’s unit, Columbia Gulf Transmission, held an open season on capacity available to Florida Gas Transmission (FGT).

Columbia Gulf has 105,000 Dth of open capacity available for delivery to FGT near Lafayette, LA for service on April 1, 2009. The open capacity is in addition to 195,000 Dth/d already subscribed for a total capacity from Columbia Gulf to FGT of 300,000 Dth/d.

The company solicited binding offers for firm contracts for transportation capacity from the Columbia Gulf Mainline rate zone near Delhi, LA and delivered to the FGT-Lafayette interconnect in Columbia Gulf’s onshore rate zone. Information is available at www.ngtsnavigates.com.
