PetroBeam, Inc. Electron Beam Processing

PetroBeam, Inc. announces that it is the leading developer of electron beam processing techniques to upgrade heavy oil and bitumen for easier pipeline transportation and refining.

Founded in 2005, the company is a privately held technology development firm. Its proprietary process uses high voltages to reduce the density and viscosity of petroleum to provide a more cost-effective and environmentally responsible alternative to traditional thermal solutions.

PetroBeam says it expects to build, operate and license its process to producers and refiners. Since inception, it has raised more than $9.5 million in capital, including $6 million equity investment from Ion Beam Applications, S.A. G.R.
