Subsea 7 Awarded Contract for North Sea Pipeline Construction Project

Subsea 7 S.A. has received an engineering, procurement, construction, and installation (EPCI) contract from Wintershall for the four pipelines associated with the Nova oil and gas field development, located in the north-eastern part of the North Sea, 16 kilometers from the Gjøa field.
Under the terms of the contract, the scope of work includes delivery of the pipeline and riser systems, and the transport and installation of subsea production systems and umbilical system.
Fabrication of the pipeline will take place at Subsea 7’s spoolbase at Vigra, Norway with project management and engineering services commencing immediately at Subsea 7’s offices in Stavanger, Norway. Offshore operations will take place in 2019 and 2020.
