Valerie M. Williams
WPX Energy announced Valerie M. Williams was elected to the company’s board of directors. Williams has more than 35 years of auditing and public accounting experience with Ernst & Young, most recently as the Southwest Region assurance managing partner. Before retiring from the firm in 2016, Williams had responsibility for a $500 million audit practice encompassing nine states, 14 offices and 1,200 employees.
